Kendall William Hickman Jr., 69, of Frankford, Del., passed away on Sunday, Aug. 21, 2016, at home with his family. He was born June 15, 1947, son of the late Betty and Kendall Hickman.
In his prime, Hickman was an avid hunter and fisherman who, in his spare time, worked at Delmarva Power for 34 years.
Bertha Mae “Bert” (Cannon) Hall, 84, of Millsboro, Del., departed her earthly journey and passed away on Sunday, Aug. 14, 2016, surrounded by her family and friends at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes, Del. The second of three siblings, Hall was born on Aug. 17, 1931, in Millsboro, Del., to loving parents, the late Raymond and Esther Cannon.

William Burley Carpenter, 62, of Frankford, Del., passed peacefully on Aug. 13, 2016, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes, Del. He was born in Salisbury, Md., son of the late A. Burley Carpenter and Eloise (Smith) Carpenter.
Carpenter had recently retired from the John L. Briggs Company, having served in the construction industry for more than 30 years.

Robert “Todd” Dickerson, 43, of Gumboro, Del., passed away suddenly on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2016, at his home.
Dickerson was a proud union carpenter and a member of the Local 2012. He loved the Yankees, country music and hanging out with his buds. He always had a smile and was a fun-loving guy. As he would say, “He had a ball.”

Robert T. “Bobby” Hollingsworth, 55, passed away at his home on Sunday, Aug. 7, 2016.
He is survived by his mother, Ellen Hollingsworth; his uncle, Victor Letonoff Sr.; and his cousins, Victor, Eric and Lars Letonoff.

Clinton M. “Monty” Misdom, 83, of Millsboro, Del., formerly of Mifflintown, Pa., Waynesboro, Pa., and Carteret, N.J., passed away on Saturday, Aug. 6, 2016, at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, Del. He was born in Rahway, N.J., on June 29, 1933, son of the late Clinton Montaque Misdom and Vivian Kingdom (Price) Misdom.

He was born in Mt. Carmel, Pa., on July 17, 1934, son of the late Albert Lisiewski and Regina (Kijewski) Lisiewski.

Richard M. Floyd, 77, of Selbyville, Del., died Monday, Aug. 1, 2016, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Md. He was born in Elberton, Ga., son of the late William Jackson Floyd and Roberta (Haynes) Floyd.
He had retired from work as an accountant for the National Security Agency and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Keith Paul DuVall, 58, of Kensington, Md., left to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on July 31, 2016, passing away after a long battle with COPD. He was surrounded by his loving family, Jeanette and children, in his home in Seaford, Del. He was born June 11, 1958, to Edgar P. DuVall and Margaret (Delcher) DuVall.

Betty Revel Hughes, 81, of Delmar, Del., passed away in the care of Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury, Md., on July 25, 2016. She was born in Dover, Del., on Jan. 1, 1935, to the late Elmer and Hilda Dodd Revel, and she was proud to be the first baby born in Delaware in 1935.
Granville Lee “Pop” LeCates, 76, passed away on Saturday July, 23 2016, at his home in Millsboro, Del., surrounded by family, following a strong battle with cancer.
LeCates loved spending time with his family and loved going to the stock car races any chance he got. He was a true testament of what a great father should be and will greatly be missed by family and loved ones alike.
