Sheila Jane Lopez, 50, of Georgetown, Del., passed away Sunday, May 3, 2015. She was born in Laurel, Md., to Larry W. Mitchem and Lucille M. Belcher Mitchem, who survive her.

She was retired from Perdue Farms Inc., where she worked as a quality-assurance inspector. She was an everyday person who liked going to flea markets and yard sales and also enjoyed gardening.

Michael J. McIntire, 42, of Seaford, Del., passed away Saturday, May 2, 2015. He was born in Houston, Texas, son of James F. McIntire of Humble, Texas, and Donna G. Fuhrman of Buda, Texas.

McIntire was employed by PATS Aircraft Systems in Georgetown, Del., as an airplane technician. He was also a U.S. Army veteran.

Adolph W. “Skip” Hoffman, 86, of Dagsboro, Del., passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2015, in the Delmar Nursing Home, Del. He was the husband of Martha (Russell) Hoffman. Born in Reading, Pa., he was the son of the late Ferdinand Mayer and Vera (Mangst) Mayer.

Hoffman graduated from West Reading High School and was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard as a lighthouse keeper.

Pietruszka was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church in Ocean City, Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary, Ocean City Elks Ladies Auxiliary and the Ocean City Polish American Club.

Dorothy Ann Slumski, 91, of Pittsville, Md., and formerly of Deltaville, Va., died Sunday, April 26, 2015. Slumski was born in Luzerne County, Pa., daughter of the late Wasil Mushalla and Rose (Gula) Mushalla.

Slumski had been employed as a hostess at the Brentwood Inn in Deltaville and was an avid Bingo player.

Gloria Wilkerson of Dagsboro, Del., passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2015, with her loved ones at her side. She was born in Frankford, Del., to the late Renat and Viola Hudson.

Wilkerson was a homemaker who enjoyed going on car rides to visit her husband’s grave, birds, watching TV Land and “The Price is Right,” ice cream, Pepsi and cooking. She enjoyed the outdoors.
