Jesse A. Barreiro, 55, of Selbyville, Del., passed away Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2015, at Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin, Md. He was born July 12, 1960, in the Bronx, N.Y., son of the late Jesus Barreiro and Gladys (Correa) Barreiro.

Barreiro had previously worked at the Flyin Fish Saloon in West Ocean City, Md., as a cook. He also enjoyed fishing.

Agnes W. Coffin, 87

Agnes W. Coffin, 87, of Millsboro, Del., passed away peacefully, at home, in the presence of her family, on Thursday, Aug. 27, 2015. She was born March 5, 1928, in Salisbury, Md., to the late Earl I. Whaley and Lola M. Wooten Whaley.

Kathryn L. Collins, 93

Kathryn L. Collins, 93, of Bishopville, Md., died Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2015, at home. She was born in Roxana, Del., and daughter of the late James Leary and Anna (Wilgus) Leary.

She was a member of Wilson United Methodist Church in Bishopville, where she sang in the church choir for many years.

Joanne Ryan Dorsey died Aug. 26, 2015, at the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford, following complications of heart disease. She was born in Elizabeth, N.J., to parents John Francis and Agnes Donnelly Ryan.

Linda Gabriel, 64

Linda Gabriel, 64, passed away peacefully on Aug. 23, 2015, at her home in Ocean View, Del., with family at her side, after a valiant fight with breast cancer. She fought hard, kept her spirits up and never gave up until the very end. She was born Nov. 28, 1950, in Gary, Ind.

Ella Mae Handy, 96, of Selbyville, Del., fell asleep in Jesus on Friday, Aug. 28, 2015, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born Jan. 23, 1919, in Snow Hill, Md., to the late Authur Powell and Sarah Jane Johnson Powell.

Walter James “Captain Jim” Hudson Jr., 74, of Berlin, Md., died Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2015, at home. He was born in Bishopville, Md., son of the late Walter James Hudson and Hazel Elizabeth (Smack) Hudson.

Charlotte M. Norris, 88, of Roxana, Del., went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Aug. 6, 2015. She passed peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving and dedicated family. She was born Jan. 19, 1927 in Philadelphia, Pa., to William and Anna Jenkins.

Eileene Faye Schlein, 82

Eileene Faye Schlein, 82, of Selbyville, Del., and formerly of Harrisburg, Pa., died Sunday, Aug. 23, 2015, at home. She was born in Harrisburg, Pa., daughter of the late John R. McNeal Sr. and Edna (Nickel) McNeal.

Schlein had been a tax examiner with the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue for many years and was a member of the Ladies Club of Fenwick Island, Del.

Randall W. “Randy” Toomey Jr., also known as “Chicken Pop Pop,” of Gumboro, Del., passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Monday, Aug. 24, 2015, after a short illness. He was 56 years old. He was born in Salisbury, Md., to the late Randall W. Toomey Sr. and Anna Lee Anderson Toomey, who survives him.

Lorie Beth Seltzer, 55, of Millsboro, Del., formerly of Mohnton, Pa., passed away suddenly on Friday, Aug. 14, 2015, at her home. She was born in Reading, Pa., on Oct. 31, 1959, daughter of the late Warren Steiner and Barbara (Sweitzer) Steiner, who survives her. She worked in a sewing factory in Pennsylvania before her disability.

Ruthann (Harvey) Strickler, 63, of Harbeson, Del., formerly of Wilmington, Del., passed away on Monday, Aug. 17, 2015, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes, Del. She was born in Wilmington, Del., on Dec. 30, 1951, daughter of the late Thomas W. Harvey and Mabel E. (Kellum) Harvey.

Matthew Noah Collins, 32, of Gumboro, Del., passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2015. He was born Jan. 13, 1983, in Lewes, Del., to the late Granville Melvin Collins and Virginia Collins Layfield, who survives him.

Evelyn E. Lynch, 95

Evelyn Lynch, 95, went home to be with the Lord, surrounded by her family, at home, on July 13, 2015. Born July 2, 1920, she was the wife of the late William J. Lynch.

Lynch is survived by her daughter, Florence Scarangella, and son-in-law, Anthony Scarangella, along with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Loretta L. Rollins, 75

Loretta L. (Dixon) Rollins, 75, of Lewes, Del., passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2015. She was born in Baltimore, Md., daughter of late Garland Dixon and Helen (Lee) Dixon.

Rollins was known in the construction field as one of the best drywall finishers. She enjoyed collecting Barbie dolls and red glass. She cherished all the time she spent with her family and friends.
