David R. Lathbury, 56

David R. Lathbury, 56, passed gently from this life, surrounded by his loving family, at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, after a battle with a prolonged illness.

Lathbury married his sweetheart, Paula, on Feb. 3, 1978. He loved to go camping, hunting and boating, but his favorite times were with his beloved grandchildren.

She was the mother of four children, Tina Borek, Sandy Ferrara, Frank Hercker and Joseph Hercker; grandmother of 10; great-grandmother of 23; and great-great-grandmother of two.

Sheryl Ann Murray, 58, of Dagsboro, Del., passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2017. She was born Oct. 9, 1958, in Lewes, Del., to the late William H. and Hilda M. Truitt Lewis.

Murray worked as a lab tech at Merck Animal Health for 28 years. She enjoyed camping and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Betty Elaine (Rizzi) Wendelin, 88, passed away Aug. 15, 2017, at Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, Va., from complications from a fall. The adored wife of Ellis M. Wendelin Jr., she was a resident of the Fountains of Washington House in Alexandria, Va. She was born July 8, 1929, in Monessen, Pa., the only daughter of Betto and Bruna Rizzi, who emigrated from Italy in the early 1900s.

Francis R. “Wazi” Wojszwillo, 89, of Millsboro, Del., passed away Aug. 22, 2017, in his home. He was born July 23, 1928, in Birdsboro, Pa., a son of the late Alfred Wojszwillo and Sarah Naomi (Feick) Wojszwillo.

Wojszwillo was a graduate of Reading High School and worked as a salesman for Buten Reading Paints until retiring in 1990.

Carey had been a sheet-metal worker and a pipefitter for many years.
