Joseph E. Clough, 88, of Ocean View, Del., passed away Monday, April 15, 2013, at Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, Del. He was born in Wilmington, Del., on Aug. 31, 1924, son of the late Edgar Thomas and Anna Mae (Garvey) Clough.

Milton G. Eisenhardt, 82, of Millsboro, Del., formerly of Baltimore City, Md., passed away peacefully, at home, surrounded by his loving family, on Friday, April 19, 2013.

Edward Laurence Kieffer, 75, of Lewes, Del., passed away peacefully Monday, April 8, 2013, at Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pa. He was born Nov. 12, 1937, in Lewes, Del., son of the late Edward and Mildred (Buchanan) Kieffer.

Evelyn Knight, 80, of Millsboro, Del., passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at the age of 80.

Knight was born on May 9, 1932, in West Chester, Pa., to the late Warren M. and Thelma Voss Rowe. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Jerl Knight, in 2004, and brother-in-law, Kester Knight.

Evelyn R. Langrall, 91, of Millsboro, Del., passed away Sunday, April 21, 2013, at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes, Del.

Langrall was born in Gumboro, daughter of the late, Thomas and Elizabeth (Wells) Moore. She sold Stanly Home Products for several years.

Evelyn M. Dunbar of Millsboro, Del., passed away Friday, April 5, 2013. She was 87 years old.
Dunbar was born March 8, 1926, in Roseville, Pa., to the late Ernest M. and Rennie C. Knickerbocker Crumb.

Alice K. Ellis, 91, of Millsboro, Del., passed away peacefully on Friday, April 5, 2013, at the Delaware Veterans Home in Milford, Del., with her loving family by her side. Ellis was born May 16, 1921, in St. John, Thibodaux, La., daughter of the late Andrew and Adeline Schexnayder Keller.

Kenneth O. Grinnell, 63, of Millsboro, Del., formerly of Harford County, Md., passed away on Monday, April 8, 2013, surrounded by his loving family, at Christiana Hospital in Newark, Del., as the result of an automobile accident.

Ruth T. Hazzard, 94, of Selbyville, Del., passed away Thursday, April 11, 2013, at Berlin Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Md. She was born in Bishopville, Md., daughter of the late Josiah E. and Frances (Bunting) Timmons.

Annette Emily Holston, 34, of Milton, Del., passed away in the loving care of her family on Monday, April 15, 2013, at home. She was born in Milford, Del., on Dec. 31, 1978, daughter of Ralph W. Holston Jr. and Tanya Mitchell Holston.

William Edward “Bill” Kardash Jr., 68, of Dagsboro, Del., passed away Saturday, April 13, 2013, after a long battle with cancer.

Patrick Michael Knight, 37, of Selbyville, Del., passed away Friday, April 12, 2013, at Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin, Md. He was born in Wilmington, Del.

Knight had been a songwriter and singer for many years.

Deborah Lynn Reilly, 47, of Delray Beach, Fla., and Bethany Beach, Del., passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2013, in Delray Beach, due to complications caused by pancreatic cancer.

She was born Nov. 16, 1965, to Robert W. Reilly and the late Carol K. Reilly in Annapolis, Md.

Hazel M. Robinson, 93, of Bishopville, Md., passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013, at Berlin Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Berlin, Md. She was born in Bishopville, daughter of the late Ollie Lee and Addie (Murray) Hall.

Pete E. Rendina, 79, of Selbyville, Del., and Venice, Fla., and formerly of northeast Philadelphia, Pa., passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2013, with his beloved wife and son by his side. Born in Masontown, Pa., he was the son of the late Riccardo and Rose (Eppolito) Rendina.

Debbie A. Eaton, of Georgetown, Del., passed away on Friday, April 5, 2013. She was 38 years old.

Ernest M. “Ernie” Fair, 67, of Rehoboth Beach, Del., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at Christiana Care, Newark. He was born Jan. 8, 1946, in Baltimore, Md., son of the late Albert and Rose (Price) Fair.

Christine Derrickson Griffin passed away peacefully on April 3, 2013, at the age of 91, at Manor Care in Wilmington, Del.

Barry Lee Kehler, 65, of Frankford, Del., passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at the Beebe Medical Center in Lewes, Del.

Joshua A. ‘Josh’ Messick, 69, of Delmar, Del., and formerly of Millsboro, Del., passed away Saturday, April 6, 2013. Born in Millsboro, he was a son of the late Everett and Clarabel English Messick.

Agnes E. Moore, 85, of Lewes, Del., passed away peacefully on Monday, April 1, 2013, at the home of her son, Bruce, and daughter-in-law, Julia. She was surrounded by her loving family. She was born Oct. 11, 1927, in Philadelphia, Pa., daughter of the late John Wesley and Agnes Henrietta (Wieczak) Haughey.

Geoffrey Randolf Myers of Bethany Beach, Del., passed away peacefully on Friday, April 5, 2013.
Born in Englewood, N.J., Myers was the son of Marjorie and Charles Myers. He graduated from Northern Valley Regional High School. Myers earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Princeton University and played on the Princeton basketball team, which reached the NCAA tournament.

David Blocher, 82, of Frankford, Del., and formerly of Westminster, Md., passed away Sunday, March 31, 2013, at Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, Del. He was born in Gettysburg, Pa., son of the late David and Henrietta (Hersh) Blocher.

Blocher had been a jeweler in Pennsylvania and Maryland and was a member of Lochraven Trap & Gun Club and a life member of the Elks.

Joan Carol Hughes, 78, of Frankford, Del., formerly of Wilmington, Del., passed away on Friday, March 22, 2013, at her home.

Hughes was born Sept. 24, 1934, in Wilmington, daughter of the late Stanley and Helen (Lefkewich) Pietuszka. She retired as a teacher’s aide within the Prince George’s County school district in Maryland with 10 years of service. Hughes enjoyed cooking and shopping.

Henry A. Markowski, 89, of Selbyville, Del., formerly of Forest Hill, Md., passed away at home on Monday, March 25, 2013. He was born in Baltimore, Md., son of the late Theodore and Helen (Lubinska) Markowski.

Harold E. Marvel, 80, of Frankford, Del., passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family and friends, on Friday, March 22, 2013. He was born Feb. 20, 1933, in Rising Sun, Del., to the late Edward and Hannah (Tyre) Marvel. He was raised in Clarksville, Del., by the late Horace and Ella (Megee) Tyre.

John Henry Mitchell, 63, of Millsboro, Del., passed away Monday, March 25, 2013. He was born March 29, 1949, in Millsboro, to the late Joseph F. and Madeline M. Baker Mitchell.

Terry Lee Hazzard, 63, of Lewes, Del., passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2013, at his residence. He was born in Milford, Del., on Jan. 27, 1950, son of the late Francis R. Hazzard Sr., who passed away in 2000, and Mary (Short) Hazzard.

Henry Ralph Arnold, 88, of Frankford, Del., passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 24, 2013, at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes, Del. He was born Oct. 28, 1924, in Philadelphia, Pa., son of the late Henry and Anna (Reustle) Arnold. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 29 years, Patricia (Axe) Arnold, in February of 2013, and a son, George Arnold, in 2007.

Joan M. “Joanie” Brenan, 84, of Dagsboro, Del., formerly Greenville, Del., passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at her home.

She was born Sept. 3, 1928, in Minneapolis, Minn., daughter of the late Walter H. Paul and Minerva M. (Shoberg) Steele.
