Baker rejoins RQR sales team

ResortQuest Real Estate announced this week that Ann K. Baker has returned to the company’s sales team.

“We welcome Ann back to the sales department with open arms,” said Brigit Taylor, current managing broker and broker-of-record of the firm. “With her drive and enthusiasm, combined with her many years as a top producing agent, she is a welcome addition to our growing sales team.”

Licensed and selling in Bethany Beach since 1987, Baker earned her Broker’s license in 2002 and became broker of record and director of sales for ResortQuest, where she stayed for 12 years. She then transitioned to the company’s business development department.

Baker has served two terms on the Delaware Real Estate Commission and was appointed to the Association of License Law Officials for five years. She was elected as treasurer of the Sussex County Association of Realtors (SCAOR), where she currently serves on the Professional Standards Committee. She is an active member of the SCAOR, as well as the Delaware Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.

Baker is also very active in the community, working on charitable committees and serving as a board member on the Justin Jennings Foundation, which treats families dealing with cancer to a free stay in Bethany Beach. Throughout her career, Baker has worked in marketing, product development and special projects for both ResortQuest and Carl M. Freeman Associates. She holds a business admin/finance degree from University of Delaware.

“My husband and I have raised two daughters here and feel this area offers something you cannot find anywhere else,” said Baker. “We are surrounded by the beauty of preserved oceanfront and bayfront park lands, family-oriented boardwalks, world-class tennis and golf facilities and amazing restaurants and shopping.”
