Dorothy ‘Dot’ H. Moore, 89

Dorothy “Dot” H. Moore, 89, of Georgetown, Del., formerly of Selbyville and Bethany Beach, Del., passed away Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012, at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes, Del.

Born in Bishopville, Md., Moore was a homemaker and was an active member of Salem United Methodist Church in Selbyville. She was also a member of the Sussex Pines County Club and an avid bridge player.
Moore was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Florence (Rickards) Hudson; her husband, A. Carlton Moore, in 2000; a daughter, Sandra M. Archino, in 1964; two grandchildren, Anthony Archino in 1964 and Kendra Williams in 1981; a sister, Eileen Bunting, in 1999; and a son-in-law, Kenneth Williams, in 1985. She is survived by a daughter, Rae M. Williams of Millville, Del.; a sister, Kathryn Carey of Millsboro, Del.; two grandchildren, Terri Mishaw and her husband, Scott, and Sandra Furbush and her husband, Robert; four great-grandchildren, Chas and Samantha Mishaw, and Bobby and Seth Furbush; and one great-great-granddaughter, Kaylyn Mishaw.

A funeral service was scheduled for Friday, Feb. 24, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Salem United Methodist Church in Selbyville, Del., with Rev. Dr. James Van Der Wall officiating. Interment will be in Bishopville Cemetery in Bishopville, Md. Arrangements are by Hastings Funeral Home in Selbyville, Del. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bishopville Cemetery; P.O.
