Edna M. Bunting, 96

Edna M. Bunting, 96, of Frankford, Del., passed away Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, at Golden Gardens Assisted Living in Parsonsburg, Md.

Born in Frankford, Bunting was a retired baker for the John M. Clayton High School in Frankford. She was a lifetime member of Frankford United Methodist Church.

Bunting was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ida (Godfrey) Hudson; her husband, Levi T. Bunting; and a son, Bobby Bunting. She is survived by a son, Thomas W. Bunting and his wife, Cynthia; a daughter, Winnie Spicer and her husband, Charles; three grandsons, Brian W. Bunting, Bain Bunting and Thomas J. Bunting; four step-grandchildren, Desirae Fields, Deidra Nagy, Richard Christopher and Kayla Cain; 15 great-grandchildren; and a special nephew and niece, David Carmean and Linda Tingle.

A funeral service was scheduled for Feb. 21, 2012, at Melson Funeral Services, with interment at Carey’s Cemetery in Frankford, Del. In lieu of flowers, the family suggested memorial donations to Frankford U.M. Church, P.O. Box 37, Frankford, DE 19945, or to Coastal Hospice; P.O. Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21802-1733.
