Sponsored by the Anne Powell Group, Fenwick Flicks will feature three movies this summer, along with pre-movie activities, on the beach at Bayard Street in Fenwick Island.

To kick off the summer, “Minions” will be shown on Tuesday, July 12, at dusk (approximately 8:30 p.m.). Prior to the movie, at 6:30 p.m., Relyance Skim Camp will be on hand to give tips to skimboarders of all ages, as well as demonstrate how to ride with style. Enthusiasts will have the opportunity to try different boards, too.

On Tuesday, July 26, “Inside Out” will be on the big screen, with a pre-flick book reading by writer John Miklos Jr., featuring his very own children’s books.

“Toy Story 3” will be shown on Tuesday, Aug. 9, and Tidepool Toys will be hosting the Beach Olympics prior to the movie.

The pre-flick events for July 26 and Aug. 9 will both begin at 7:30 p.m., with the movies starting at dusk.

“Fenwick Flicks is an opportunity for everyone to have summer fun, relax under the stars and watch a fun movie,” Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Kristie Maravalli. “All are invited to bring the family, beach chairs, towels and snacks to enjoy this unique experience with the ocean waves.”

Holly Kia of Selbyville and Town of Fenwick Island are also supporting sponsors for this free event. In the event of rain, the showing will take place on the Wednesday following the scheduled date. For more information, visit thequietresorts.com, or call (302) 539-2100.
