Fusion Day Spa offers escape from the bustle
Local entrepreneur Robb Leech is now offering some sybaritic indulgences at the Delaware shore, backed by the recent acquisition of his massage-therapy license. Leech’s Fusion Day Spa in Millville is quickly becoming a popular spot for relaxation and rejuvenation.

Fusion Day Spa in Millville offers customers a chance to get away from all that is ailing them and be pampered.“I grew tired of working 15-hour days and coming home stressed,” Leech admitted of the reasons behind the new venture.
The new day spa is already catching the eyes of visitors and locals alike, despite only being in its third week of operation, and the prices are a contributing factor. For $60, customers can indulge in a cut and color from certified cosmetologists. Hair designs of all sorts, color treatments and highlights are also available, as well as a variety of organic waxing services.
With price a focus, Fusion Day Spa offers monthly specials, starting at $50.
“They can choose from a number of services we have,” explained Leech, “like a massage, facial or cut and color. They can pick up two a month for just $100, or they can come in by a regular plan.”
Massage services, which use organic hemp seed oil, cover a wide range of specialties, from an hour-long Swedish massage for $75 to a 60-minute hot stone massage for $85. Scalp massages, deep pressure massage and reflexology are also available. Certified massage therapists provide treatment in areas such as acupressure (a blend of acupuncture and pressure), trigger point and even couples massage.
There are even special packages offered for him or her to make them feel like a king or queen for a day. “Kings” can experience a hot stone massage, haircut and style, signature facial and scalp massage, while the “queen” will be treated to a full manicure and pedicure, signature facial and hot stone massage. Each package is priced at $200 and includes a robe and glass of wine. All facials at Fusion use organic and natural products.
“You can’t get all of that for that price anywhere else,” said Leech. “Other spas would charge $400 or $500.” And Fusion’s prices are subject to further reductions. “We can match or beat any deal,” Leech added. Just bring in any advertised day spa price, and Fusion will meet or beat it, he promised.
The small, private rooms help ensure a calm, relaxing experience, with no distractions.
“It’s very comfortable for our customers,” said Leech. “It’s not noisy, like some of the salons you find. We’re definitely a day spa where you can get away from it all.”
Fusion Day Spa is located on Central Avenue, next to Bethany Beach Yoga Center, which could offer a complementary experience for a particularly relaxing day. Leech’s all-natural, eco-friendly soy candles are also available at Fusion Day Spa.
While the spa is still a new business in the area, it’s already in high demand, according to Leech.
“It’s still too new to know about the residual business this place will be doing,” he noted, “but by next winter, we can expect at least 100 people monthly and plenty of daily business. We had two cuts and color, two walk-ins, and four massages this past Thursday, alone. Those were the numbers we were expecting to do in the summertime, but we’re glad to see them now.”
And with the holidays around the corner, people are also stopping in to grab some quick stocking-stuffers.
“Our gift packages and gift cards are selling very well,” he said.
Leech said he hopes to explore additional possibilities with Fusion Day Spa in the future, including wine tasting and samplings and hydrotherapy.
“There’s plenty of possibilities for later,” he said, “and these are the things that people are looking for when they just want to relax.”
