Georgetta W. Pepper, 92

Georgetta W. Pepper, 92, of Selbyville, Del., passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2009, at Salisbury Center Genesis Healthcare, Salisbury, Md. She had been a homemaker. She was a member of Sound U.M. Church, Williamsville, Del., and had attended Blackwater Fellowship Church, Roxana, Del.

Pepper was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ethel Shockley Walker; her husband, Carl A. Pepper; and her grandson, Stacey Jones. She is survived by two daughters, Wilma Lee Jones and her husband, Ralph, of Bishopville, Md., and Carletta S. Lankford and her husband, Terry, of Mardela Springs, Md.; three grandchildren, Jeff Jones and Adam and Andrew Lankford; two great-grandchildren, Ethan and Marlie Lankford; and her cousin, Marie Swain of Georgetown, Del.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 3, 2009, at 1 p.m. at Hastings Funeral Home, 19 South Main Street, Selbyville, where friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in Roxana Cemetery, Roxana, Del.
