Juliana E. Carter, 73

Juliana E. Carter, 73, of Selbyville, Del., passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2009, at Harbor Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Lewes, Del. She had worked in sales for Hess Apparel in Ocean City, Md., from 1978 to 1996.

Carter was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph E. and Josephine V. Aubin Popkins. She is survived by her son, Christopher J. Carter; three daughters, Cindy A. Carter, Kimberly M. Bean and Karen L. Carter; two sisters, Margaret Reese and Patricia Driscoll; and two grandchildren, Matthew Carter and Shane Squier.

A Mass of Christian Burial was scheduled for Friday, June 26, 2009, with interment in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Dagsboro, Del. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Heartland Hospice, 17577 Nassau Commons Blvd., Suite 103, Lewes, DE 19958.
