Lord Baltimore Lions Club contributes to Special Olympics

At their Nov. 20 meeting, the Lord Baltimore Lions Club was visited by representatives of Special Olympics Delaware. Winnie and Barbara Spence, members of the Wilmington Manor Lions Cub and longtime advocates for Special Olympics, spoke to the club members about the program. After their presentation, Lord Baltimore Lions Club President Jack Bauer presented the Spences with a $1,000 donation to Special Olympics Delaware, a contribution the club has made annually.

Hudson has excelled in track-and-field events with Special Olympics Delaware. His presentation was designed to validate the role a positive attitude has in helping overcome adversity and reaching goals.
