Margaret Ann Forbes, 73

Margaret Ann Forbes, 73, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 11, 2012, at her residence, with her loving companion, Walter Forbes, by her side.

Born May 4, 1939, in Hackensack, N.J. Forbes worked as a secretary for many years, in the engineering field. After retiring, she enjoyed spending her time reading and traveling. Forbes was the correspondent secretary for the Lord Baltimore Women’s Club and was named the Purple Princess for the Ocean View Beach Bunnie’s Red Hatters.

Forbes was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Dorothy (Bogart) Salisbury, and a brother, Robert Salisbury. Forbes is survived by her companion and former husband, Walter Forbes; her brother, Donald Salisbury of Virginia; a sister-in-law, Mildred Salisbury of Lincoln; and five cousins, Beth Eddey of New York, N.Y., Gary Eddey of Morristown, N.J., George Eddey of Westerville, Ohio, Erwin Eddey of Gaithersburg, Md., and Roy Eddey of New York, N.Y.
