Members of the Ocean View Police, Ocean View Citizen Auxiliary Patrol, Delaware State Police Truck Enforcement Unit and the Delaware State Police Motor Carrier Safety Assistance Program conducted a truck inspection checkpoint on Route 26 on April 27.
Police inspected 21 trucks, 12 of which were placed out-of-service for equipment violations. Additionally, police issued 23 traffic citations during the initiative.
