Thaddeus J.‘Lump’ Stokley, 77

Thaddeus J. “Lump” Stokley, 77, of Millsboro, died Wednesday, March 15, at Beebe Medical Center. He was a carpenter for many years, working for several area contractors and a self-employed carpenter until his retirement in 1993.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife of six years, Pamela L. Tunnell Stokley; one son, Bernard Simmons; two daughters, Takisha Tunnell and Shawna Tunnell; a devoted niece, Revie Banks; several grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services were scheduled for noon on Monday, March 20, at Mt. Zion Holiness Church in Milton with internment at the Henlopen Memorial park in Milton.
