Produce takes a pounding

This produce stand on Muddy Neck Road near Ocean View was destroyed by a car that failed to negotiate the adjacent turn early Wednesday morning. The 30-year-old stand, which sustained $20,000 in damage, was expected to reopen with a temporary structure and a new load of produce.
