While real estate sales remain sluggish across the United States, statistics in Sussex County reveal a rebounding housing market that is bucking national trends, according to the Sussex County Association of Realtors (SCAOR).

Toys may be dropped off seven days a week at Long & Foster’s Bethany office located at 33298 Coastal Highway in South Bethany next to McDonald’s. All donations must be made prior to Dec. 15.

The deadline for the completion of qualifying First-Time Homebuyer Credit purchases has been extended. Taxpayers who entered into a binding contract before the end of April now have until Sept. 30 to close on the home.
